20 Questions with Mark

And now for the other part of the 20-questions blog posts! Here you can read all about Mark, learn what makes him tick and who his biggest influence is! ENJOY!

Q - What was the scariest part of moving from MA - NY?
A - I wrote in my high school year book that I wanted to move to New York City. The city felt like home to me whenever I visited. It wasn'tscary, but exhilarating.

Q - If you could have dinner with 5 people, dead or alive who would they be?
A - Julia Roberts, Winona Ryder, my dad's father, Randy Shilts and my mom.

Q - What has been the craziest adventure you've had so far in your life?
A - Driving on the 'other' side of the road in Ireland.

Q - What is your # 1 favorite Movie, Book, Play, TV Show, Actor, Actress, Singer?
A - Ordinary People, Girl, Interrupted, The Normal Heart, Ally McBeal, Ryan Gosling, Julia Roberts, Alanis Morissette.

Q - If you could go back to one time in your life, would you, and if so -- at which point?
A - I would not choose to go back in time.

Q - Do you like to sing?
A - I love to sing for certain people.

Q - What is your dream vacation?
A - Bali

Q - What are your top 5 pet peeves?
A - Big umbrellas, eating on the subway, slow walkers, people who say 'aks' instead of ask, the middle seat on a plane.

Q - Are you a dog person or a cat person?
A - Dog

Q - If Steven Spielberg approached you to make a movie of your life would you accept? Explain your reasoning.
A - I would accept. He's Steven Spielberg. I think Kenneth Lonergan should direct the movie, but keep Spielberg as a producer. I bet he knows a few people.

Q - What is your earliest memory?
A - I loved the shirt I wore to my first day of school at age five. Iremember that shirt. I wore it to bed

Q - Do you have any regrets?
A - I don't have regrets

Q - What is your favorite food?
A - Anything with real butter

Q - Do you like a plain burger, hold the bun?
A - Of course I do!

Q - What is your favorite memory? Your worst memory?
A - A favorite memory? Hmmm.... saying I love you. Realizing you love another person and articulating it. But then on the flip side, not having them say it back. I've experienced that. Telling someone you love them and not hearing it back. There's a pain in that that you can't describe or know until you're standing in it.

Q - Do you believe in Heaven and Hell?
A - I believe in a higher place. I believe there's life on other planets too.

Q - Who has been the most fascinating person you have met in your lifetime?
A - People fascinate me; I couldn't say just one person in particular.The way people hide their pain and express themselves. It's all very interesting.

Q - Do you believe in ghosts?
A - Yes

Q - If you could travel to the future and see what's in store for all of us, would you? Explain your reasoning.
A - I would not travel to the future. My hardest lesson has been forme to just live in the moment.

Q - Is there one specific person who has changed you in a way that you never thought possible?
A - I am the one person in my life that changed me the most. Does thatsound like I'm a narcissistic? I don't mean it to be. I just mean tosay that I am my own problem and I solve my own problems.
